Help Me Bring My Youngest Home from the Hospital!

I'm Sherry, mother of Gabi. Gabi had surgery on her spine on October 1 to remove a cyst that was pressing against several nerves that had her in severe pain. This is her third back surgery. She also has a rare blood infection, of unknown origin, that doctors have not been able to effectively treat to date. She is on IV antibiotics for now.

The doctors say that she will be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life now and will be in constant severe pain. We don't know if she can sit up yet, so not sure of the type of wheelchair. She will need to live with me for support, but my home requires changes to accommodate her wheelchair and other needs, such as ramps, safety bars, door widening, and a roll-in shower, and bathroom access.

I am asking for funding to help with the construction that will have to be done on my home, and for other needs that will include paying for her medications and trading in my car on a van so I can transport her to doctors, physical therapy, and other places she will need to go for the foreseeable future.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for Gabi in providing for her new needs and will be appreciated more than you can imagine.
