Update: Things were looking up on his current regimen, however, as of today 1/23 he is back at the vet for another emergency procedure. This will cost an additional $4k so any help will be appreciated. We aren't sure where we will go from here. I hate that this is ongoing and he is in pain. But we are managing the care the best that we can. 2

Tonight, on New Year’s Eve, we noticed that Meeko was having trouble urinating. We decided to take him to the emergency vet and he was rushed into surgery for bladder stones. The vet says he will need a second surgery because they couldn’t get everything. This is forcing us to face tough decisions we don’t want to with such a young dog. Meeko is only 8 and his brother, Midas, is an absolute wreck in the short time they’ve been apart today. Any amount will help to get this surgery paid for so we can afford the next.
