We are Chad & Anna, and we are organizing this GoFundMe as part of Alexandra's PhD Graduation gift.

Having worked in Senegal during her fieldwork, Alexandra noticed that many of the students in Senegal do not have access to a personal laptop, which substantially restricts and sometimes even hinders them from writing their thesis and having access to research materials (e.g. publications, reports) outside of the physical library. She would really love to help some of these students out. For that reason, we want to ask for your help!

Please consider making a contribution via this GoFundMe page to help us acquire used laptops. Once we have the laptops, we will make sure that all necessary software is installed to have them ready-to-use. We will then deliver them to our contact persons at local universities in Senegal, who will make sure the laptops can be used by students for conducting their research and other educational activities.
