USC Junior Thesis Film Dedicated to My Brother

Hi! I'm Megann, I'm fundraising for my Junior Thesis Film, "The Good Knight" dedicated to my younger brother Kyle.

Inspiration 

I wrote this script after my younger brother beat Lymphatic Cancer last year after several months of chemo. His unrelenting positive and fun approach to life inspired me to write a whimsical, fantasy story grounded by a brother and sister relationship. My brother's infectious zest for life and strength inspires me to not only be a better filmmaker, but a better person.

Amelia, a girl who loves to get wrapped up in the fantasy novels she reads, is reluctant to take on the responsibility of caring for her younger brother after her mother’s death. While working in the library, Amelia gets transported into her late mother’s favorite fairytale book and must fight to get back to her brother or get lost in the fantasy world forever.
