USC Graduate Student Tuition

Hello!

I'm making this GoFundMe on behalf of Abe, an exceedingly talented screenwriter at USC's graduate screenwriting program. His initial tuition funding was pulled abruptly mere days before the semester started, so he's been trying to balance a full workload, hundreds of pages of assignments, rent/utilities, and finding the money to pay for his first semester. Scholarships and other financial aid would help him complete the remaining three semesters, but unfortunately between being unable to find a suitable cosigner and the inaccessibility of student loans to non-citizens, he hasn't been able to raise the last $4500 before the deadline ends by the end of the month (Nov 2023).

I have found that one thing people are unfailingly is kind and willing to help, so if you can or know someone who is able to, please help Abe get across the finish line! Thank you!

EDIT 1/16/2024: He was able to pay about $2000 of the tuition bill when he was able to register for courses, and USC rolled the balance into the next semester's bill. They have since sent an email saying that the remaining amount (just under $2800) must be paid by the end of the month or he will be removed from the classes he's already started, making this a really urgent request. Please help if you're able and share if you can't donate right now! Thank you so much in advance!
