Here at USBC, we are raising funds in order to buy our first men's pair! We need every bit of help we can get to make this happen.

As an ambitious squad, we are looking to further our recent BUCS success by enhancing our training sessions. By owning our first men's pair boat, we will also be able to have our High Performance athletes go to GB trails in a sweep boat.

The University of Surrey Boat Club has had a lot of success in pairs over recent years such as:

Silver medal in the Men's Championship Lightweight Pair with Jamie Gamble and Sam Bodkin, BUCS Regatta 2021.

Bronze medal in the Men's Intermediate Pair with Sydney Burnand and Josh Burke, BUCS Regatta 2021.

Gold Medal in the Men's Championship Pair with Ali Douglas and George Stewart, BUCS Regatta 2019.

However, this has all been achieved through the use of borrowed boats.

This investment would allow our high performing athletes to train in their own boat providing a pathway to improve their training efficiency and trialling for GB in the years to come.

However we cannot do this without help and we welcome any support towards this fundraiser.
