Whether you are a dedicated player of pétanque, or you find yourself scratching your head saying, “Peh-what?” you are likely seeing our GoFundMe page because you know, believe in, and want to support one or all of us—your 2021 USA Women’s World team: Janice Bissonnette, Alexandra Tisseur, Chia Vang, and Christiane Chrissy Lion!

We will be traveling to Ayutthaya, Thailand for the Women’s World Championship, November 2021, with Coach Paul Yang. The FPUSA will be providing a minimal stipend to help cover some of our travel costs, but any additional financial support will be greatly appreciated. 


The pétanque community in the USA is growing, slowly but surely, and proudly, every year. This 2021 Women’s Team acknowledges the women who have paved the way before us, and we are training rigorously in preparation for a level of a competition we have never seen or experienced here, in the United States. 

Your support of USA women’s pétanque ultimately helps elevate the game for all generations. 

What you will get with your donation to our mission:
·      Updates with photos and videos of us hard at work training and competing in US tournaments from now until departure
·      Once we land in Thailand, photos and videos of us hard at play, connecting with women pétanque players from around the world, and exploring in our free time the gorgeous city of Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
