Hey there!
My name is Geoffrey Woolson. I'm a 3* Vaulting athlete from the USA. Vaulting is and always has been a huge passion of mine. I've been participating in the sport for about 17 years and have had the privilege to compete with the US Team multiple times. I currently vault with Pacific coast vaulting club in Woodside, California and run my own club (Shadow Hills Vaulting Club) as the head coach and trainer win Los Angeles, California. Since October of 2020 I have been doing 12 hours of driving weekly to work with both clubs as they are 6 hours apart. I am dedicated to the progression of my own athletes as much as myself! This has been a fantastic year for me in the sport having competed in the squad division as well as individually and having great results in both! We have high hopes and chances to be selected for the world championships in Budapest, Hungary this August! I also had my first athlete from my club compete this year with fantastic results! I'm a proud coach! :) Although the sport is extremely rewarding it does come with a heavy amount of financial commitment to be both a coach and athlete competing at a world class level. It has been in large part to my family, friends, and supporters that I have made it this far! Some of the costs I have ahead for this summer are:
- Airfare to and from Europe
- Lodging for 2 months
- Horse costs for training and competition
- Individual fees
- Team fees
- Food
- Incidentals
To keep it simple, this will be an expensive summer but we will make it happen!
As I gear up for the summer in Europe full of extreme training in the Netherlands and competition in both France and Hungary, I would absolutely love and appreciate any support given in the pursuit of my endeavor.
