Road to USA Indoor Track and Field Championships
Donation protected
Hi everyone! My name is Brittany Aveni and I am a track and field athlete from Geneva, Ohio. I graduated from Geneva High School in 2016 and then attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina from 2016-2021. While at Duke, I was a 5-time All American and set school records in the 100m, 200m, and 400m and was a part of the 4x100 and 4x400 school record relays. During my final year, our women's team won the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Outdoor Title for the 1st time in school history. During that Championship Season, I won the ACC 400m title and was selected to compete at the Olympic Trials for Team USA. I was a semi-finalist at that meet, and was only a few spots short of making the team that competed in Tokyo. I recently graduated, but continue my running career post-collegiately and recently qualified for the USA Indoor Track and Field Championships to be held in Spokane, Washington from February 26-27th. This meet will serve as the qualifying meet for the World Indoor Championships to be held in Belgrade, Serbia from March 18-20th. I would love the opportunity to compete at the USA Indoor Championships, but since I am currently not sponsored, I am challenged to fund my travel. I would greatly appreciate any help that my community, friends and family can provide. All of the donations that I receive will be used to pay for my air fare and lodging in Washington for this meet. Thank you all very much!
