I have been touring professionally for over two decades and have never had an issue entering the United States to perform. This year has been different.

Due to the US government shutdown earlier this year, visa processing timelines were delayed. When I applied in June, the stated approval time was about five months, which would have meant approval over two months before we'd need to enter the US. That timeline has since increased multiple times and now sits at approximately *8.5 Months*.

After many hours of conversations with US Immigration and the Canadian Musicians Association (CFM/AFM), the only remaining option is premium processing, which comes to just under $4,000 CAD.

If you know any independent artists, you probably know that a $4,000 price tag can easily derail a budget and quickly eat into any real chance of earning a living wage. Touring the US is already challenging, especially with rising hotel costs, and this premium processing fee is a specific, one-time requirement that allows us to enter the country and do our job in 2026.

I want to be clear that I am not asking for handouts. Instead, I am offering a way to help cover this final administrative hurdle while receiving something tangible in return. I have not released a new album in a couple of years, and this felt like a good opportunity to get meaningful merch into the hands of people who may have supported us at the shows anyway.

Thank you for your kind consideration. I know the holidays are tight for everyone, so if you can't support - please share?

Happy New Year and see you the road!
