My Fiance, Henyia, recently had major abdominal surgery to remove what was thought to be a massive ovarian cyst; they also took her right ovary and Fallopian Tube. The mass was removed on 10/17, and she spent the next six days in the hospital before coming home. A few days after coming home, we received the results of the pathology of what they removed. We were then informed that it was a Stage 1A Grade 2 immature teratoma. They are confident they removed all of the mass in the surgery but want to do four rounds of chemo to ensure no cells are left behind. Due to this, Henyia has been out of work since the beginning of October and will continue to be out of work until the beginning of February at the earliest. Needless to say, our bills have solely become my responsibility, causing me extreme stress. To say we are struggling is an understatement, and we could genuinely use all the help we can get. Thank you so much for taking the time to read all of this and for thinking about contributing to our cause <3
