Hi everyone,

Our names are Megan and Jaya and and we are 20 year old students student currently studying at the University of Leeds. I am writing this after a terrifying experience we went through.

While we were driving back to university, my car unexpectedly caught fire on the road. Thankfully, we were able to get out safely, but the car was completely destroyed — along with all of my personal belongings, including electronics, school supplies, clothes, and essentials I need. The fire happened so quickly that we had no time to save anything.

Unfortunately insurance won’t cover nearly enough to recover what was lost.
