Hello! My name is Marlee and I am the producer and one of the writers of Communion; a brand new play being performed this year in September at Vancouver Fringe.

Our team full of diverse interdisciplinary artists are working to create a piece that transcends the what the typical theatre scene in Vancouver has to offer.

We wanted to create something that is not just accessible to everyone but is created by folks of all different backgrounds and avenues of art; collaborating with artists from the local music and poetry scenes to open new doors in our process and work to make art outside of a vacuum.

While the play itself is small, the costs of creating a show are steep.

-- the list goes on -- and as self-sustaining artists, we do not have the means to pay for these things ourselves.
