"Dear Friends and Family,
For over 25 years, Eric and I have built a life together, a life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of raising our twin boys, Nigel and Legin. They're 24 now, and the inspiration behind the name of Eric's business, 'Us Guys.' When they were toddlers, 'you guys' became 'us guys,' 'me guys,' and 'I guys,' a sweet memory that stuck with us.
Eric, my everything, poured his heart and soul into his home-based fabrication shop. It wasn't just a business; it was his passion, a testament to his incredible talent and resourcefulness. He could build or fix anything, and if he didn't know how, he'd learn. His shop was a treasure trove of tools – mig and tig welders, a hydraulic press, a handmade band saw, plasma cutter, air tools, hand tools, grinders, chainsaws, even the motor for our car, and of course, his beloved shoe collection. Over two decades, he'd amassed every tool imaginable, some with deep sentimental value, passed down from loved ones we've lost.
Then, on March 1st, 2025, our world changed in an instant. An unexpected fire ripped through the shop, destroying everything. The tools, the equipment, the memories – all gone.

This loss is devastating, not just financially, but emotionally. Eric's shop was his sanctuary, a place where he could create and express himself. It was a part of him, and now it's gone.
We are still trying to process this, and figure out our next steps. We are so greatful for the outpouring of support we have already received.
Forever grateful to our friends and family, we have raised a lil over $500 of a $2500 goal. While $2500 prolly won't build a new shop, it will replace some necessary tools for work.
Thank you for being a part of our journey. We will update you as we know more.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Maekeysha

This my valentines gift this year, stainless double layer ring. Made with a Lincoln tig welder.
Band saw that he made from scratch. Hoping it still has the bones to fix it back up.
What's left of the lathe.
Check out the picture below that was a crane. The fire got so hot it tacoed an I beam! It will definitely become art in the future.
Saturday March 1st is a day that I will never forget. That is the day my best friend lost everything that he had for his fabrication business. His shop and all of his fabrication tools gone in an instant. I think it took part of his soul too. He would never ask for help like this but he has a dream and I believe in him so I would hate for him to quit now. He has been working on the business for a couple years now. He can do anything. Mostly metal work but whatever you need this is the guy you call. From climbing and cutting trees to fabricating a lil metal thingy to put in that what's it called.
That fire ripped it all out of his hands. All he is left with is a drill a battery powered grinder and a chain saw. He is most upset about losing his big band saw that he made top to bottom. And the welders might and tig and plasma cutter. My stomach just turns looking at where these things were. I've lost a lot in my life but nothing prepares you for a situation like this. I know that everything happens for a reason. And that has brought you here right now. So please give this a share to everyone you know and let's ignite the fire inside him and make him whole again! Thanks again!
This a gate built for someone in Dallas.
We cut this tree in our yard by hand with a hand chain saw. It's a chain saw blade on cables takes two to operate from the ground, hard work but worth it.
Every donation and share helps! My ultimate goal is to replace the welder and plasma cutter. The backbone of his shop. And we are definitely on the way there!
