Hi, we are Stellar Racing, and we are fundraising to get to the Irish STEM Racing National Finals. We are a STEM Racing team based in Athlone at Marist College, made up of Transition Year and Fifth Year students. We design, manufacture, and race our very own miniature Formula One car. From engineering and aerodynamics to branding, sponsorship, and project management, every part of this journey is led entirely by our team. We are proud to have qualified for the Irish National Finals, and our goal now is to represent our school and community at the highest level and hopefully go on to win Nationals and progress to the World Finals.

We are working tirelessly to compete at the National Finals, but bringing a race car from concept to competition involves significant costs, including manufacturing, materials, testing, and travel. That’s why we’re asking for your support. Every contribution helps us move closer to the starting line and hopefully the world stage. These funds will be used to cover the essential costs of getting our car from design stage to the National Finals. This includes manufacturing the car and purchasing the materials and components needed for production, such as carbon fibre, co2 canisters, tools, and testing equipment. Funding will also support research and development, aerodynamic testing, and prototype improvements to ensure we perform at our highest level. In addition, contributions will help with competition registration fees, travel and accommodation for the team, team uniforms and display materials, and printing costs for our portfolios and presentation boards. Every donation directly supports the practical expenses that allow us to compete professionally and represent our school with pride.
