Help us get to Albania for the Pictet Competition

Bonjour à toutes et à tous,

Notre équipe composée de trois étudiantes - Aglaé, Beya et Chika - de l’Université Paris Nanterre a été sélectionnée pour participer à la 40ème édition du concours Jean-Pictet (anglophone) en Albanie du 25 février 2023 au 4 mars 2023 !

Nous serons amenées à concourir avec des équipes du monde entier dans le cadre de simulations autour d’un conflit armé fictif. Ce concours à la fois stimulant et unique nous permettra de nous pencher sur l’intégralité du droit international humanitaire avec le traitement de problématiques relatives aux relations internationales, au droit pénal international ainsi qu’au droit des réfugiés.

Nous lançons cet appel aux dons afin de financer les frais de transport (900€) ainsi que les frais d’inscription qui couvrent également les frais d’hébergement et les repas (1250€ - pris en charge en moitié par l'UFR).

Hello everyone,

Our team made up of three students - Aglaé, Beya and Chika - from Paris Nanterre University has been selected to participate in the English-speaking 40th edition of the Jean-Pictet Competition, to be held in Albania from the 25th of February 2023 to the 4th of March 2023!

We'll be competing with teams from all over the world in simulations based on a fictional armed conflict. This stimulating and unique competition will allow us to closely study all aspects of international humanitarian law, covering issues regarding international relations, international criminal law, and refugee law.

We're fundraising in order to cover travel fees (€900) as well as the registration fees which will cover boarding and lodging (€1250 - half covered by our UFR!).
