After four years of renting apartments, we’re ready to set roots and build a stable, loving home. With Lilah quickly approaching school age, it’s incredibly important to me that we settle into a permanent space before she starts this next journey.
To those of you who don't know us, I'm Max and Lilah is my 4 year old daughter. I am a single parent, who works full time as a farm manager, running a 6.5 acre vegetable farm. I am incredibly hard working, dedicated and passionate in all things I choose to uptake. Lilah is a spunky, extremely friendly and outgoing little kiddo, who's favorite color is pink! Her signature line is calling someone a "pasta noodle" in both endearing and unhinged contexts. She enjoys reading books, going to the beach, and "loving" (mauling) our over weight house cat.
We have $5,000 toward a down payment, but with today’s high interest rates, it barely makes a dent in the monthly mortgage. Our lender has suggested “buying down” the interest rate using seller concessions (if we’re lucky enough to get them), which would lower our monthly payments—but it also means we need a significantly larger upfront investment. That’s where we’re asking for your help.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to a lifelong dream: a place to call our own. A home where Lilah can pick the color of her room, where we can mark her height on the doorframe year after year, and where memories will be made in every corner.
