Hi friends! Jon and Morgan here, owners of Dyad Coffee. If you've followed our journey you may know us as the little coffee corner, with the really good charcoal latte... or something like that! We got our start in the corner of a home furnishings store on the west side of Charlotte! A place we were able to test ourselves, in more ways than one. Through that space, we had the opportunity to meet and serve so many incredible people and create a mighty little community. A space, that we like to think, transported you into something and somewhere out of the ordinary. When that building was sold, and with no investors backing us, we decided we had to pack up the business for a bit. We did our best during that period to serve at markets and pop-up events because the thing we love above all was serving you, meeting you, and being a part of a community. Entering into 2023 we had to be very realistic, and the truth was and still is- we need funding to make this shop happen. On the cusp of tapping out, questioning if what we were fighting for was recognized, appreciated, or most importantly- wanted, we started to look in other directions. The cost of rent in the city had officially priced us out. We had been led on and lied to by property owners around town and without money, we didn't stand a chance. We had one last breath of strength and with a last-ditch effort, we stumbled upon a dream space. A tiny yet mighty, historical building right in Noda. A literal dream!! We have used and drained all of our personal savings into this passion project and now we're turning to you! We've set a goal of $10k in hopes that you- our friends, family, and community, could help us achieve this dream and make it our reality. Our goal for this fundraiser is to offset some of the opening costs and truly allow us a foundation in which we can give you all the experience that we've been working towards in this past season. If you know Jon or Morgan then you know we're NO GOOD at asking for assistance- so this is a big one. The reality is, we can't do this alone! We hope you know that any amount of money you may donate is 100% more than we feel comfortable asking, and are incredibly grateful for. And yes- that's even "just $10". Our goal is to provide a full-service, safe space, that warrants fulfillment for everyone, every time. And we mean everyone. We desire to create a curated space and menu, offering house-made syrups, single-origin espresso, wellness lattes, tea- and sooo much more. Eager to expand the dyad family and community, with a coffee experience a little outside of the norm here in Charlotte. We do believe that we create something special, something worth fighting for, and something we so badly can not wait to share with you.

The funds for this will go directly to the space and business. Mainly- immediate renovations, equipment, POS accessories, product, and merchandise.
