U.S. ARMY SFC (Ret.) Jan Wiatr Memorial Paver

Jan Wiatr, a long-time resident of Fayetteville and Polish native, passed away peacefully on July 9th, 2023 at his home at the age of 96. He became a Lodge Act enlistee in 1952 serving in what is now known as America’s Foreign Legionnaires before volunteering for Special Forces. Jan proudly served in the 77th SFG(A), 10th SFG(A) as one of “The Originals”, 7th SFG(A), 6th SFG(A), and 5th SFG(A) where he had a distinguished career. Please, help us raise money to buy a paver at the Airborne & Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville, NC to honor his legacy. All funds donated will go directly to support this tribute.
