U.S. and Worldwide Distribution for "Being Robin"

My name is Roger Kabler and I am an actor, comedian, and first time filmmaker. Being Robin is a docudrama that tells the story of a bipolar man who came to believe he was visited by the unchained spirit of Robin Williams.
It is my story.
Truth be told, I didn't know if I was having a spiritual exprerience, or if I was delusional when Robin showed up in my life, and my voice, my face, my body, and my mind.. Maybe it was my own desire to keep him alive somehow. Whatever the reason, my answer was to create a stage tribute for Robin and allow myself to be the channel that let Robin run wild and free again. The show has traveled across America and Canada. The film, Being Robin, is about those events.
The film asks " What would Robin say if he were here today? What do you think he would say?" Robin brings all his love and irrepressible wit to the party. He also delivers a humanitarian message for our times. People are telling me that the film is very healing, and that they are grateful to me and the film for "keeping Robin alive". I am also heartened by the reviews and awards that confirm that seeing this movie is a profound experience.
And now, Being Robin has been discovered by Gary Rubin, an indie film agent and consultant in L.A. who will assist us in U.S. and worldwide distribution. He feels confident that this will happen once there is a strong public interest in Being Robin.
This is a big step for our little film.
To do that, it will take serious marketing dollars to build public awareness. I am hoping to raise $45,000. This will cover hiring a social media expert, screening the movie in major cities, buying print ads, and securing select billboard space in highly visible areas. (How great would it be to see "Robin's " face up on a billboard as you drive by?)
It is my mission to share Being Robin with as many people as possible, to tell my story, to connect with people who also experience spiritual events and mental health issues and to bring together the millions of people who loved Robin. It is this kind of feeling, I believe, that has the power to help overtake the darkness of these times. Would you please help me to make this possible? And if the spirit moves you, when you donate, tell me what Robin meant to you, or what you think Robin would say if he was here today . Please be kind , he always was. Please visit BEINGROBINTHEMOVIE.COM to see the trailer. Thanks so much. Roger
