Rebuild Hope for a Family After Tragic Fire

Mother’s Day in 2025 changed our lives forever. A shed fire spread quickly, destroying our home and taking our home from us.

We lost almost everything to fire, smoke, and water. Our little family of three would truly appreciate ANY help you can spare.

Mom works at a local elementary pre-school, and Dad works in manufacturing nearby. Neither have PTO to cover taking time to manage and recover or find a new home.

This family is hardworking, loving, and tight-knit. This disaster has taken not only our belongings but our peace of mind. Our son is devastated, scared, and can’t sleep.

It’s hard to even ask anyone for help. But we need to go outside of our comfort zone because we are at a total loss. We have no home. Our belongings are destroyed.

With all of this, we are blessed. We are blessed that we are physically safe. We are blessed that our cat was scared enough that he ran out of the house AND was found safe. We are blessed that our neighbors are safe.

We are grateful to all the fire and safety, utility workers, neighbors, and family that showed up to help us sift through rubble and try to salvage some more of our family pictures.
