Hi, everyone! As I’m sure you know, I got very sick in 2020. I haven’t been the same since. I have epilepsy that isn’t fully controlled by medication, severe POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) which causes me to faint and injure myself, severe myalgic encephalomyelitis, and an autoimmune disease (Hashimoto’s). I spend my days in bed or with doctors.
I’m no longer allowed to be at home alone for extended periods of time. My husband has had to take a step back from work to care for me while he looks for a job from home. Most recently, I fainted from a POTS episode and ended up in the hospital with a broken nose, stitches, a concussion, and a sprained neck. With my fainting and seizures, it’s become increasingly dangerous. It’s also become increasingly more expensive the more severe I get.
I have tons of appointments, medication costs, bills, etc. I hate having to ask the internet. Unfortunately, there isn’t much help for disabled people like me. If you have the means to help, I would be so thankful. Even just sharing helps more than you know. Thank you.
