Dearest friends and family,

Our family was recently shocked by devastating news from Belgrade, Serbia. Our cousin, Uroš Mladenović, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer (Dg. C25.0) which has metastasized on his liver. This news came shortly after finding out he is to become a first-time father to a baby girl, Sara.

Due to the metastasis that has appeared on his liver, it is not possible to perform surgery on the pancreas, but rather it is necessary for Uroš to undergo several cycles of chemotherapy in his home country Serbia, as well as other countries across Europe, to make the tumor operable.

Uroš needs funds for treatment, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgical procedures, laboratory and other necessary testing and medical expenses, as well as for travel expenses and accommodation. Uroš's fight for his life is expected to cost €200,000.

Uroš' family has started a Serbian crowd-funding page (https://www.budihuman.rs/sr/korisnik/1078/uros-mladenovic), which is not as accessible for donors outside of Europe, which is why our family created this GoFundMe page.

Uroš is a loved husband, brother, and son, a talented musician, and a wonderful friend. If it is in your means to make a small donation to help Uroš fight this illness, I urge you to do to so. It would be beyond appreciated by his family.
