Hello- my name is Ryan Estus and I am a Freshman at the University of Rhode Island, and Founder/President of the URI Club Pickleball team.

Established this past October as New England's first collegiate Pickleball club, we started out with only 10 members. We have since been rapidly growing in membership to the point where we have over 50 students on our member email list, with 25+ students attending practice each week.

We have also applied for and secured a sponsorship with manufacturer Gamma Sports, providing us with paddles, balls, and other necessary equipment.

Not to mention we have scheduled a match against Providence College, to give students a chance to showcase their skills in a fun but competitive match setting.

But despite all this great news, we still are very short on club funds... that is where we need your help.

With a donation amount of your choosing, we will be able to purchase more equipment for the team, such as uniforms, as well as fund transportation to nearby colleges to play matches and reserve indoor court time during the colder months.

Our goal is to participate in a DUPR Collegiate Regional tournament, held at top pickleball facilities across the country!

To conclude, your donation will help introduce the sport of Pickleball to potentially hundreds of students in the campus community, and will hopefully allow us to represent URI on a national level! Thank you for your time, and Go Rhody!
