Urgently Support Ella Laveaux Seeking Asylum

Dear friends and community,

We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request for support. We are raising funds for a young Black Trans Woman who is currently facing a difficult situation.

Recently, her asylum claim was withdrawn without explanation, leaving her in emergency accommodation with the looming threat of losing her place to stay after October 18, 2024.

This young woman is a joy to be around, kind, compassionate and extremely caring. A talented performer who is a positive and inspiring presences in our community.

As she is without the right to work in UK she faces numerous challenges and barriers, She urgently needs our help to secure stable housing and essential living expenses. We are aiming to raise money for:

* A deposit on a room £500-£1,000

* Rent (1-3 months): £1,200-£3,000

* Food and toiletries (monthly): £200-£300

* Travel costs £50-£100

* A storage unit for her belongings £50-£100 per month

* Legal assistance from an asylum solicitor £1,000-£3,000

Estimated Total:

For a 2-3 month cushion, a rough target could range from £3,000 to £6,000

In addition to fundraising, she is also seeking cash-in-hand work opportunities to help cover her immediate needs
