Urgent help needed for my mums hip surgery

Hey my name is Natasha Julien and this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but I have no choice — I need to ask for help for my mum.

My mum is 60 and has been in constant, terrible pain for the last two years. She has a very bad hip and can hardly walk. My mum is at the point of possibly ending up in a wheelchair. Her hip replacement is waiting to be done — but now it might not happen because of the constant delays.

She also has serious heart disease. Recently, she got a tooth abscess. Because of her heart condition, the NHS can’t treat it in the usual way — she needs a specialist to do the surgery first.

This dental surgery op is a complexed one my mum needs to have sedation because of her heart disease.

This had been delayed twice one by a letter that wasn’t sent to them on time from one dentist to another = Delayed

Without it, the hospital won’t do her hip operation, and it could be delayed again.

It’s heartbreaking to see her like this. I’ve watched her spirit fade and her mental health suffer, but she still tries to stay strong. She is such a loving, kind person and means the world to me.

We don’t know where else to turn. The private dental surgery is expensive, and that’s why I’m asking for help — even £1 would make a difference. Every donation will go straight to paying for this urgent dental treatment, so my mum can have her hip replaced and get her life back.
