Urgent:Help Shahed and Anas’s lovely family survive Gaza

Hi, my name is Katey Middle from Australia, and I’m fundraising for a wonderful family in Gaza.

Shahed and Anas are two of the siblings, and they share the burden and responsibility of helping me with this GoFundMe to try to get food, water and basics for their family who are all trapped in Gaza right now, including Shahed and Anas.

Below is their story:

“I am Shahed, 21 year old.

Today I’m writing you my story that pushed me to initiate this fundraising to help me and my family survive and also hopefully one day escape the bloody war in Gaza.

I am studying laboratory medicine at Al-Aqsa University, which I dreamed of studying and completing my studies since I was young. But the war destroyed my simplest dreams which are “study and education”

I am Anas, sixteen years old. My dream is to study medicine and travel abroad, something I have always dreamed of since I was a child, but the war has obscured my simplest dream: studying.

We are a family consisting of ten members.

Our father Anwer Dwima which he is 48 years old, he was a mobile phone dealer and owner of a bakery shop, dedicated his life to work hard tirelessly to build a bright future for us, he has never hesitated to put all efforts and money so we can get the best life quality of education and life, but he lost his income source in this war, and the bakery shop has been destroyed and the phone shop and the family 4 floors house were fully destroyed.

Our mother, Soha, 44 years old, the kindest heart in the world, worked at a high school, but with this war lost her job and the school was fully destroyed.

Then comes our older brother, Mohannd, 26 years old, Married. And he has a little daughter her name is Soha, who was deprived of the simplest rights under these circumstances and the prices.

Then our brother Abdallah, 23 years old,

Graduated three days before the war majoring in mathematics, but he didn’t have the opportunity to receive his university degree because of this war, his university was destroyed like any other universities.

Then two other little brothers, “Mohammed and Hatem” were also deprived of completing there studies because of the bloody war.

Before the 7th of October we had a beautiful charming warm house, and all our memories are in Gaza.

We have faced displacement seven times since 7th of October, I don’t know when will we return home and return to our lives again.

Each one of us will start from scratch, our lives turned upside down, many friends and relatives have been lost in the war.

Please help me and my family to survive and hopefully also escape this terrible war we are facing with your donation, no matter how small can make world of difference in me and my family’s journey to safety our home.

We are 10 people, 8 people each need 5000 US dollars to cross to Egypt, 8*5000=40000 US dollars, 2 small people each need 2500 US dollars to cross to Egypt, 2*2500=5000 US dollars.

My brother and I need 10,000 US dollars to study, and the costs of accommodation for me and my family, food, drinks, etc., we need 12,000 US dollars.

Note from Katey: I have set the fundraiser currently at $70,000 Australian dollars and will raise accordingly to try to meet Shahed and Anas’s goal.
