Hey there friends.

No doubt, this is hard to do, but your girl is needing a little help from some friends. I’d never ask unless it was absolutely necessary!

I’ve been snowboarding 22+ years and by design, one of the first years ever without insurance, my first serious injury took place on the mountain. I broke the acromial end of my clavicle (collarbone) and separated my shoulder by ripping apart a ligament.

That being said, I’ll never be able to properly function without this surgery, and the surgeons won’t even see me without 10k down. Unfortunately their response is , no ifs ands or buts.

Though I’ve searched all options for aid, assistance, and discounts, nothing will aid help with the orthopedic centers. I’ve hit a hard wall. Our healthcare system in this country is heartbreaking.

Trust me, it’s truly a humbling experience to reach out for help, but I know that I have the support system to help me, if I ask. I will repay you in the future with love, babysitting and whatever odd jobs or repayment plans necessary; but I need to be able to get this surgery to get on my feet to work, to do so!
