I’m trying to raise a little bit of money for my older cat named Simba..

He was always a good eater, drank lots of water and was a pretty big cat with a hanging belly… ever since i have moved back to Whitman. He has been significantly losing more and more weight each week… right now he probably weighs 5 pounds.. his skin and bones.. I did a lot of research and was told that he probably has either hyperthyroidism, diabetes, or a kidney issue.. all of the above need a basic blood test panel for his thyroid, glucose, and a kidney panel… the exam and bloodwork only are expected to cost a little over $300 and then he could be put on medication for the rest of his life… anybody out there that has a fur baby.. knows how worrisome this can be.. and I’m not even sure if this is the right diagnosis yet.. all I know is I need to get him to see a low cost veterinarian that could run these tests for Simba.. and I can save him because right now, he has no strength to even move around much or climb up on a bed or a couch.. she eats and he drinks, but he drinks water excessively.. so that’s why I was told about the three causes of why that would be happening.. I’ve been doing my research and I hope to be able to get him into see a vet as soon as possible before he loses more weight or his life in general..

I hate to ask for anything at all, but my income is nonexistent right now and I’m basically just looking to get a diagnosis so I can go on to help him with whatever else he needs..

Is the actual cost that I can’t make for his birth visit exam and bloodwork.. and that’s all I’m asking for is those two things I can figure out the rest…

It would be graciously appreciated if anybody could donate even five dollars… every little bit helps and will make me able to set an appointment as soon as possible with a low cost organization that could possibly give me his diagnosis and plan for his future to be one that he can live a healthy rest of his life.. besides this condition he’s suffering with that. I’m not sure of yet. He was always an active cat, loves to go outside.. Loves to snuggle with me.. and is very friendly in general.. but now all he does is sleep and barely is able to jump up on our couch just cause he has no muscle left to him. He’s basically skin and protruding bones… his deeply loved by myself, my son and my daughter.. and if there’s any ounce of hope I have left is why I came to this conclusion that I needed to ask for help which I really do not like doing but feel like at this point. It’s my only option to get him a diagnosis…
