Help Eli Get the Emergency Care He Desperately Needs

If you know Haylee, you know her heart. She’s the kind of person who would and HAS driven hours out of her way to rescue a stray, organize transports to get animals out of dangerous situations, or foster pets who’ve known nothing but neglect — all in her “free” time, all out of pure love. Now, the dog who started it all — her beloved rescue Eli — needs our help.

Eli is more than just a pet. He’s her first baby, her best friend, her constant. He’s been by her side through so much, and now he’s facing a terrifying medical emergency. After visiting three different veterinary clinics, Eli had to be rushed to the OSU main campus. The doctors believe it may be cancer or a serious brain infection, and he needs an MRI and overnight observation to have any chance at treatment.

The cost? $5,000 just for one night, and that doesn’t include the MRI, neurology consults, or any treatment beyond today. The estimate could climb to $7,000–$8,000 or more, and Haylee has already stretched herself thin working overtime, and caring for sick family members. She’s exhausted, devastated, and doing everything she can — but it’s not enough.

Eli has been her rock. Now it’s our turn to be hers.
