Urgent Vet Care Needed for Baby Chu

Chu, my pet Cockatiel, is a bird that I purchased at a flea market which housed him in horrible living conditions. He had been an absolute sweetheart over the past two months; however, a possible previous infection that he likely received from the flea market has worsened. Thursday night on May 22nd, 2025, my mother found Chu open-mouth breathing and breathing rapidly, like our previous little angel, Fifi, before she passed away. We took him to the veterinary and we were told heartbreaking news, that Chu has very serious health complications and that he would need to have every possible examination done to him in order to determine what the cause of his illness could be. As we took him to the vet in the emergency visit, he suffered two seizures, one as he was entering the vet and one before we left. My family is currently in a rough financial situation so we have not been able to afford all the necessary steps and all we have been able to do is purchase the medicine needed to potentially relieve or cure whatever he may have. He is only a baby (possibly only a few months old) and does not deserve to go through this suffering. I would express my sincere gratitude if I could receive the funding to be able to afford to take Chu to get all his exams done. The money received from this fundraiser will be exclusively used for his consultation, blood exam, fecal exam, and x-rays. Thank you very much.
