Well, we have had our precious Marmalade since Jolene was eight years old. She is her companion cat. One day, she just showed up at our door 14 years ago and decided she would live with us. She has never had health issues before, but she hasn't been herself. We thought it was marking territory due to new kittens, but now I think it's a kidney infection.

Well, today we had to urgently take her to the vet. They did labs, and with the lab fee, antibiotics, and fluid injections they gave her, it's all added up to over $800! That was excluding the x-rays, which would have been another $400. Tonight we are waiting to hear results tomorrow on her test. She already appears to be doing better. She's grooming herself and wanting to eat.

You may think I'm a fool for using rent money to pay for these, but Marmalade is family. I'm not gonna just put her down because she's got some discomfort right now. I really believe she's gonna pull through. Please help with anything you can. It'll help me greatly. Love and prayers.
