Urgent Treatment for Uncle Manzar

Asalamu alaikum everyone,

As some of you may know earlier this year, my beloved Uncle Manzar was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic bone cancer, a very aggressive form of cancer that has a 40-50% chance of long-term survival at diagnosis. My uncle has had a few rounds of radiotherapy and is due to have chemotherapy in the coming months.

Due to the very aggressive nature of my uncle's cancer, there is a very poor chance of long-term survival. The doctors have stated that he has 18 months left.

As such, we as a family are fundraising for further treatment for my uncle so that he can have a longer life frontline treatment. This therapy should hopefully ease his pain and allow our beautiful, funny and much-loved uncle to live a few more years.

To get my uncle the further treatment he needs, we are trying to fundraise for a minimum of £10,500 to cover the cost of the treatment and travel, as unfortunately, he doesn’t have the capacity to afford that coming from a poor place in Pakistan. I will be looking to host a fundraising event at some point in the coming months and will share any details as soon as I have them.
