Urgent Travel Funds for Tobias to See His Mom

My name is Tobias Massey and the reason why I am trying to raise funds is because on the 28th of October 2024, my mother had to be rushed to the cardio hospital in Napa, Ca. to get fluid drained from her lungs and heart. The procedure went fine but the very next day she suffered a large stroke.

After the stroke, she had to be rushed to Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto in a helicopter to undergo a separate emergency surgery to relieve the pressure from the swelling in her brain that was caused from the stroke.

So far she has survived all of this but her mobility is extremely limited, she cannot move half of her body and she cannot talk. The nurses and doctors are taking excellent care of her but there is no way I can afford to make a trip to Palo Alto with 82 cents to my name. That’s why I’m asking for help. Just enough to afford a round trip bus ticket or plane ticket and traveling expenses so I can see her and be with her again.

Nobody is really sure of what the outcome of her situation will be. Everybody keeps telling me it’s a matter of waiting. But every second that ticks by is like a cold empty eternal ache because I do not know if this would be the only chance I would ever get to see her again.
