Campaign to Help Spay and Neuter Feral Bridgeport Cats
Donation protected
This campaign is to help spay and neuter a feral cat colony on the East Side of Bridgeport, CT. Everyday, a kind woman named Joanne Morales cares for a large colony of neighborhood feral cats that are multiplying exponentially. Since last fall Joanne’s cries for help have not been answered. Joanne is terminally ill and soon to be evicted from her home.
Joanne’s East Side neighborhood is flooded with cats. On our first visit we counted close to 15 adult cats and at least 1 or 2 litters of kittens. Joanne suspects that there are 3-4 pregnant females and two cats that may be injured. There are likely many more. We hope to spay and neuter all of them. Please consider donating so we can help get the cat population in this neighborhood under control. We expect the cats could more than double by the fall if something isn’t done.
We are still hopeful that a TNR organization can get involved. If that happens I will donate 100% of the contributions to the rescue to cover the costs of spay and neuter. Every dollar counts and no contribution is too small. We have appointments to begin the spay and neuter process next week.
