This is a heartfelt appeal for financial help on behalf of my sister and brother-in-law, Kemi & Sola Abayomi.

About 2years ago, they embarked on a school building project in Idanre, Ondo State Nigeria. They were moved to do this because of the alarming rise in the level of illiteracy in the community. Most children in Idanre do not get the privilege of education. They are sent out to farm at a very early age.

Besides ongoing campaign to raise awareness of the importance of early education,  the Abayomis also used their savings to build classrooms. They made many personal sacrifices towards this labour of love like giving up good and comfortable life in the city, sacrificing their car and so many more to make this a reality for the children to be educated.

Unfortunately 2 weeks ago, on March 11, 2021 the school building they were erecting and funding out of pocket collapsed.

Thankfully, no life was lost. However, all the efforts and resources put into the project are all gone. They are distraught and discouraged but not giving up.

To help the Abayomis get this laudable project back on track, I am soliciting your support. The Abayomis urgently need our financial help to be able to continue with this project that gives hope and a future to many children.

If we can raise the money needed, the school building project will continue as planned and should be completed before the end of the year to encourage parent to continue to send their children to school and also not to dash the hope of the young children aspiring for greatness
