Please Help Save Xena, Our Service Dog Has One Week
Hi, my name is Sheila and I never thought I would be in a position to ask for help like this, but today, I’m asking you to help save our dog, Xena.
Xena is not just our pet. She is my husband’s service dog, his stability, his comfort, and his support through daily life. She is also deeply connected to our children, who have disabilities, helping them feel safe, calm, and understood in ways that words can’t explain. She isn’t “just a dog”… she is a lifeline in our home. She is family.
Right now, Xena is in pain.
She has a fractured jaw, and it has already begun to risk infection. The vet has told us she needs urgent surgery within the next week. If we can’t get her the care she needs in time and the infection spreads, we may be faced with the unthinkable: having to put her down.
We are completely heartbroken even writing those words.
The cost of her surgery and treatment is $2,000, covering:
* Emergency jaw surgery
* Medications and antibiotics
* Pain management
* Post-surgery care and follow-ups
We are doing everything we possibly can, but we simply don’t have enough time or resources to do this alone.
Xena has given our family so much comfort on our hardest days, protection, unconditional love, and support we rely on every single day. Now she needs us… and we are asking for help.
If you can donate, even a small amount, it could make the difference between life and loss for Xena. If you can’t donate, please share her story because that alone could help save her.
Please help us give Xena a chance to heal, to come home, and to continue being the heart of our family.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for any support you can give.
With all our love and gratitude,
Sheila
