Meet Phyllo, my delightful 9-year old chihuahua whose world is currently hanging by a thread. She is a snugglebug who can often be found in a nice warm lap, with a fuzzy blanket snacking on her freeze dried chicken. Her goofy personality shines through even when she’s keeping the pack in line. Sweet, loving shy girl … all 5 pounds of her❤️

Phyllo is facing the risk of losing her precious eyesight due to a severe eye infection. Thanks to emergency services her infection has cleared up, but there’s a looming threat.

Despite a large ulcer in her eye, Phyllo can still see, and with your help, we can ensure she continues to experience the joy of sight. An eye specialist has confirmed that Phyllo needs emergency surgery within the next week to graft her eyeball. Without this crucial intervention there’s a a real danger of her eye rupturing, leading to permanent blindness.

I currently receive limited income on social security disability, facing financial constraints that make it impossible to cover the hefty surgery bill. I believe that every pet deserves a chance at a happy and healthy life, and that’s where your kindness comes in!
