Urgent surgery needed to remove Johnny's cancerous mass

Donation protected
Johnny has been with us since August, when we rescued him from the wildfires in Patras. He is the sweetest boy, and we want to give him every chance to heal and continue being his happy, loving self.

A few days ago, we visited a specialist after several vets couldn’t determine what was wrong. and we finally have answers. Johnny has a partial cruciate ligament rupture in his right hind leg, and he also has a mass on his ribs that appears to be a sarcoma and needs to be removed urgently. The good news is that the mass does not seem to be attached to the ribs, which makes the surgery safer and gives us hope.

Our top priority is to remove this mass as soon as possible, as it may be cancerous. Once he recovers, he will then need surgery on his leg.

The cost of removing the mass is €600–€700, including all pre-operative tests. After surgery, we will also need to send the mass for a biopsy. In total, we expect the expenses to reach around €1,000.

Ideally, we hope to proceed with the surgery in early January. We are setting up a fundraising campaign for Johnny, and until it is live, any support or donations are deeply appreciated. Every contribution helps us get him the care he urgently needs.

Thank you all in advance for standing with Johnny!
