Urgent Surgery Needed for Way 2 Much: Help Raise $700 for Her Amputation
Hello everyone,
We are pleading for help to save a precious kitten named Way 2 Much.
I found this tiny girl when she was just 4 weeks old and took her in. She is 12 weeks old now, and I've been caring for her ever since, but we've hit a sudden medical emergency.
THE DIAGNOSIS AND THE FIGHTER-
I quickly noticed a severe issue with one of her front paws/legs that caused her to limp. We rushed her to the vet, and two separate veterinarians confirmed the heartbreaking truth: the issue is not an injury, but a severe congenital birth defect.
The vets were clear: If we don't act now, the defect will cause her immense, chronic pain, lead to severe arthritis, and eventually result in debilitating spine and hip issues as she grows. The only way to ensure she can run, play, and live a life free of suffering is an amputation of the affected front leg.
Despite this challenge, Way 2 Much is a complete fighter! She is otherwise very healthy, determined, and refuses to let her disability stop her from exploring.
Excellent Prognosis, Urgent Need
The vet's prognosis is excellent once the surgery is complete. They have strongly advised performing the amputation as soon as possible to prevent further stress and set her up for a quick recovery. We need to act fast!
Why We Need Your Help: Our Goal is $700
The total estimated cost for this crucial, life-changing surgery, including X-rays, anesthesia, and post-op care, is around $700.
I want to be honest: I am on a fixed income (Social Security) and cannot possibly afford this unexpected bill. I've been dedicated to Way 2 Much since she was a tiny 4-week-old, but I desperately need the community's support to afford this vital procedure.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward her medical bills. Even a donation of $5 or $10 makes a huge difference and helps us quickly reach our $700 goal to ensure Way 2 Much gets the care she needs right now.
Please help us give this brave little kitten the pain-free life she is fighting so hard for.
Call to Action: Please consider donating and sharing Way 2 Much's story! Your kindness is her only hope.
