Hi everyone, I took Tito to the vet this week since he was acting different. X-rays show he has a Diaphragmatic Hernia, meaning part of his stomach, large and small intestines have moved into an opening in the sac around his heart. This has caused his windpipe to move out of place slightly as well. Tito is in need of a specialty surgery as soon as possible. Without surgery, Tito could endure pain, difficulties breathing, blockages, and internal ruptures leading to death. Tito is more than a pet to me; he is basically my entire world and makes each day better. He gives me something to look forward to. He has supported me in more ways than I ever could imagine. Unfortunately, specialty surgeries are very expensive due to the level of care needed, and with Tito only being 4 years old, he has so much life to live. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
