Urgent surgery needed for support dog! Save from amputation!

Our family started this go fund me because our baby, (dog) fell down a whole set of stairs from the very top and fractured his leg. He had scratches all over him and he was shaking and whining loudly. Of course, we took him to the vet as soon as we could, it did take us a while though because as of now we do not have a vehicle so me and my 2 girls took an Uber instead. We are all alone here and my baby is a support animal to my youngest, I cannot imagine how it would be if his leg got amputated due to not having enough money. Once we got there they told me the total and I couldn’t hold back my tears. In this picture I linked here, he was under pain medication which was $300 dollars alone. After I paid the total I was completely broke. In order to get back to our home I had to use the last $20 I had. In the car ride home I was trying my best not to cry because in this entire situation I know that I have to be strong for my girls. I’m a single mom and it’s just us here so I know that I have to be a great role model for them.

The vets told me that in order to cure my dog, I have to give him orthopedic surgery ASAP (within the next 2 days because his fractured bone might splinter out and cause worse problems) or else he would have to get his leg amputated. This broke me. At the vet we asked if we could get his leg wrapped but they said no because it might worsen the condition of the leg. I cannot express how guilty I feel knowing there is no way I can help him right now. My baby doesn’t deserve to get his leg amputated due to me not being able to have enough money to fund his injuries. It isn’t fair to my baby, or my daughters to have to see him in such a condition. We’ve had him since he was 2 months old so he is a part of our family. I set this go fund me up for him because we genuinely cannot afford this surgery. I am not the kind of person to ask for money from anyone, I myself am a very independent woman but I truly want my baby to get the help he needs and deserves. If you do not want to just hand it over to me, I do accept loans. I appreciate you for reading this and hope, pray & beg that you decide to help my baby. Please.
