Old Puppy Needs $6,000 Surgery to repair fractured elbows

We are Kathy & Eric Reynolds. We live in Glendora, Ca. We adopted our beautiful 8-week-old puppy from the Inland Valley Humane Society on 7/16/2024. We named her Daisy. Daisy was blending with our family and other pets wonderfully. We instantly fell in love with her. On 7/21/2024 she was with us playing in the front yard. My daughter walked up the driveway from the street to see her. Daisy did not recognize my daughter right away and became scared. She instantly turned and ran up our driveway and ran through our wrought iron gate as fast as possible. She forced herself through the gate at such a high speed, that she hurt herself. She was unable to stand. I thought by morning she would begin to recover. On 7/22/2024 she became much worse. We rushed her to our vet and x-rays produced the images we were not expecting. She fractured both front wrists. She is in so much pain. We are attempting to pain manage her. We are working on a tight timeframe as she desperately needs surgery on both wrists. The surgery costs $6,707.01. If we do not raise the money within a week, her bones will attempt to heal making surgery impossible and she will not be able to recover, leaving us with limited options. She is so young, only 8 weeks old!! This is an accident that should have never happened. We are devastated and are willing to do whatever it takes to get her surgery done. Any help will be so very appreciated. We have a week to raise the funds. If anyone has any suggestions to assist her, your suggestions are welcome. her condition is diagnosed as "Humeral Lateral Condylar Fracture" Both Elbows. We desperately need your help for Daisy!!
