Dear family, friends and kind-hearted supporters,

My name is Pretni Narayan & I’m reaching out to you all on behalf of my 32 year old sister-in-law Kajal Narayan who is in urgent need of a discectomy surgery (spinal) . She is currently residing in Fiji Islands & has been battling nerve issues & mobility challenges for the past 3 years. Doctors have recommended her to undergo immediate surgery in India.

For those of you who don’t know, a discectomy is a surgery to remove a damaged part of the spine called a herniated disc, which is pressing on nerves and causing numbness. This condition can make it very difficult to move & walk because the nerves in the back are being squeezed.

Kajal is also the only one working to support her family, but her condition has made it harder and harder for her to continue. Without this surgery, she will continue to suffer and may no longer be able to work at all, putting even more strain on her loved ones, her dreams & goals to open her own Bakery one day aswell.

Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery, travel, post-operative care, and other medical expenses is beyond what our family can afford alone. In Fiji, access to this specialized treatment is limited, and India offers the best chance for her to receive the care she desperately needs.

We are humbly hoping to raise $30,000 to cover:

3. Post-Surgery Rehabilitation & Medications
