Hello everyone,

My name is Dan Kaufman and I am currently a resident physician at Northwell / Nuvance Health. I am reaching out to all of you today in regards to my dog Lilo.

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for help. My beloved dog, Lilo, has been diagnosed with kidney stones that are causing her severe pain and affecting her health. The vet performed urgent surgery and has removed over 100 stones.

Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery and necessary aftercare is beyond what I can afford right now. Lilo means the world to me — she’s not just a pet, she’s family. Watching her suffer breaks my heart, and I’m doing everything I can to give her the care she needs.
