My Sister Kenna loves her cat, Chaka more than anything in this world. If you know her you know her cat is her everything.

Kenna left a very abusive relationship that has left her traumatized and scared for her life. She has a PPO against him and he is continuously breaking It. There is a "man hunt" going on right now so the police can lock him up for a long time.

On the night of November Monday the 24th, Kenna was visiting me. The whole time she was over she expressed how scared she is to go back in case he shows up. A couple hours passed, she made plans to stay the night at our grandma's..before going over there she went to check on her cat. He was gone nowhere to be found and her house was broken into. She immediately called the police. They showed up and located the cat in her shed. He was very badly hurt. In shock and afraid she took him to the emergency vet to get checked out. She was there all night only to hear that his hip is very dislocated and they couldn't put it back because his socket is too dull. They advised her that he needs surgery and if it can't be done he needs to be out down. Kenna's world shattered all over again. She just paid $1000 for him to be seen to hear this news and has no money to move forward with surgery right now. She has Chaka being seen at Lansing Vet Clinic in Williamston.

Kenna is 21 weeks pregnant. This whole pregnancy has been awful consumed with fear and abuse.

She needs help right now with her cat. She doesn't even want to think about life without him in it right now as he is the reason she's made it through so much. He is her companion.
