I’m in desperate need of financial help to get surgery for my baby girl Honey. She was given to me in 2014. I was recovering from major surgery, and from the moment I held her in my arms, she has been the best companion. She sleeps on me every night. She sits on my lap every time I crochet. She is the sweetest thing ever, which is how she got her name.

About 2 years ago, a lump started growing on her left shoulder area (do cats have shoulders?). Over the past few weeks, it’s been growing bigger and bigger. Currently, it’s close to the size of a golf ball. I have taken her to the vet, and she is in excellent shape minus this major growth.

This is where the financial help comes in. There is a fabulous vet here in Houston, and I’ve been given a quote for surgery of a little over $900. This includes pathology of the tumor to find out if it’s cancer or not. I can opt out of the histology, and if so, I can subtract around $250 from the estimation.

I am hoping to have the surgery scheduled as soon as possible!! Like, within the next week or 2, I am worried about how much bigger this tumor will grow.
