Urgent Hernia Surgery Needed for Goro the Pug

Since I was a little kid, I’ve always wanted a pug. I thought their little wrinkly faces and potato bodies were just the cutest things. Then, in Christmas of 2024, I got my wish. My Fiancé’s mom brought me a pug puppy. And I named him Goro.

Goro was born with a small umbilical hernia, and the vet told us to keep an eye on it and it may go away or shrink on its own. The other day we picked him up to go in his morning walk and noticed he basically had a little rock bulging out of his stomach.

We took him in and they told us that it’s likely a fat deposit pushing it’s way out, and he needed surgery within the next few days at the risk it going necrotic.

With appointment, surgery, treatments and medicine, it’s going to cost several hundred dollars. Hundreds of dollars that I don’t really have right now… which is why I’m here today to please ask for help with this. Please.
