Doe appeared as a 2/3-month-old kitten outside my house around this time last year. He was all alone, and we decided to take him inside to make sure he was okay and adopt him out when he got a bit older. Even though there has been much interest in him, he has never been adopted.
A month ago, he was a happy cat running around and playing, getting into trouble. But then we found out he has an ear infection. We went to the vet and found out he has a polyp in his ear. No big deal, we can extract that after the infection goes away. But after back-and-forth vet appointments this month (four times), his infection has not gone away, no matter the different types of medications we have tried. Instead, his head has swollen and has created lumps of fluid between his skull and skin. It progressively has gotten worse as the days have gone by. Along with a dangerously high fever that keeps coming back and his balance being off, he is uncomfortable as you can imagine.
He has a potential appointment for surgery and biopsy on the 23rd, but they need a down payment to allow us to make the appointment. It is $1,075 for the surgery. Only asking for what we need to get the appointment set. If you cannot donate, I understand; it's hard right now for everybody, but please share. Thank you, Kate
