Urgent: Surgery Needed for Chai's Recovery

Hello, my name is Julie and I am raising money for my aunt Laura’s beloved dog, Chai, who needs surgery.

For those of you that haven’t had the pleasure of meeting or seeing her posts, this is Chai. She is 2 years old. Not only is she adorable, but her personality makes her even cuter. Chai loves everyone she meets, and you can’t help falling in love with her instantly. Her favorite friends are children and cats.

A few months ago, Chai started limping constantly and was diagnosed with a luxating patella, which means her kneecap popped out of place. After 2 months of meds, there was no improvement, and she was told surgery was now needed. Since then, Laura has reached out to every organization seeking some financial help so that Chai can have surgery, but there wasn’t help for orthopedic surgeries. It’s now the only solution. Unfortunately, this orthopedic procedure runs between 4-5k. The pain and discomfort are having a terrible impact on her. She can’t run around crazy like she loves to do. She can’t go for walks or play ball. Sometimes she even needs help up onto the bed at nighttime. Her muscle is deteriorating as well in that hind leg. Her mom is beside herself to the point of tears and feeling like a terrible mom, unable to afford the surgery at this time of need. Any and all donations will absolutely go to Chai’s knee surgery.
